Kristen Hartofilis, Esq. is a Director of The Mara Group. Kristen focuses her efforts on assisting law firm clients in growing their businesses through associate and partner acquisitions. She also spends time recruiting on behalf of companies looking to grow their legal and compliance departments.

Prior to joining The Mara Group, Kristen practiced for nine years as an employee benefits and executive compensation attorney at Kelley Drye & Warren LLP. She regularly counseled executives in connection with employment and severance matters.

She received her J.D., cum laude, from Pace University School of Law, where she was an editor of the Pace Law Review. She received her B.A. in Economics with a minor in History from Duke University, where she played on the women’s lacrosse team.

Kristen resides in New Canaan, Connecticut with her husband and three children. In her free time, she enjoys reading to her children, tennis and interior decorating.
