Ralph A. Blessey, Esq. is a co-founder and Principal of The Mara Group. Since beginning his career in executive legal search, Ralph has regularly assisted law firm clients in evaluating expansion needs and identifying opportunities for associate recruiting and partner acquisitions. He has successfully placed attorneys and other legal professionals at varying levels and in a wide array of areas of expertise at premier law firms nationwide. Ralph has also assisted leading companies in the investment, financial services, real estate, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, entertainment and media, and health and wellness industries in hiring attorneys and compliance professionals to meet their in-house needs.

Prior to co-founding The Mara Group, Ralph gained valuable experience from his service as a Director of one of the preeminent legal executive search firms in Manhattan following his work as an attorney practicing both corporate law and litigation at the New York office of Mintz Levin Cohn Ferris Glovsky and Popeo PC. He earned his Juris Doctorate from St. John’s University School of Law where he served as a member of the St. John’s Law Review. Ralph earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Susquehanna University.

Ralph presently resides in Connecticut with his wife and two daughters. He is an avid fan of New York sports teams and, in his free time, enjoys travel, tennis and running.
